New Model Home Coming Soon to M/I Homes of Dallas / Fort Worth

M/I Homes of Dallas / Fort Worth is eager to announce that a new model home will soon be opening in DFW!  We will be joining the Creekwood development in Saginaw/North Fort Worth with 18 beautiful homesites in Phase 4 of the community, and will be prominently featured in Phase 5.  We will be featuring our gorgeous Heritage Series of new homes in Creekwood and each home will be built out on oversized homesites, with 3-car garages standard in Phase 4.  The model home is our Somerset floorplan, and is one of the best-selling floorplans throughout the metroplex.  The Somerset floorplan comes standard as a 5 bedroom home, which showcases a fantastic use of space and amazing amenities that you’ve come to expect within an M/I Home.

The Grand Opening for this beautiful new community is slated for March, just in time for planning your new home for the 2016-2017 school year!  Creekwood is located just minutes away from the acclaimed Saginaw/Eagle Mountain ISD school complex.  You’ll love this little piece of rural Texan living, nestled between lakes, prairies, with easy access to major commuter highways!

Here’s a sneak preview of our new model home currently under construction!

Would You Buy a Car Without Knowing Its MPG?

It’s safe to say that it’s unlikely that you wouldn’t want to know if your car were a gas guzzler or a beautiful green machine. It’s just the same for homes. Homes have what’s called a HERS Index, or its Home Energy Rating System index, and the lower a home’s HERS score, the more energy efficient it is.

Whole Home Smart Living From M I

All of our homes are inspected by a third-party certified RESNET inspector to determine its HERS rating. See how we stack up against the average resale home.

If you haven’t checked out our new Whole Home site, you are in for a treat. It takes you from just what exactly is a Whole Home and why does it matter, to exploring deep within a home, and even calculating your own energy savings with our handy calculator. (And trust us, you must take the calculator for a spin!)

See if you can spot the difference in these 2 photos…

Happy Friday & thanks for playing. 🙂

The M/I Homes family is defined by our co- founder, Irving Schottenstein. At the heart of our business, M/I Homes stands above all other builders because we truly care. Among the many great values Irving instilled into M/I, “treating the customer right” is the guiding philosophy the company lives by. And it was those very words that served as his lasting legacy.

We take a look back at Irving’s life accomplishments that defines who we are today…
