Popular Places to Move near Houston, Texas

Houston is an attractive relocation spot for many young professionals, families, retirees and individuals in between. With a healthy job market, no state income tax, attractive annual forecast and endless options for home-style barbeque, Houston is a unique metro mixing Texas charm with urban edge. Houston’s real estate market is one of very few in the nation to withstand the Great Recession of 2008, mostly due to the city’s involvement in the energy sector. Join us for the Turnberry Model Home Grand Opening!

In November our Dallas Fort Worth division had an amazing turnout at their Sneak Peek event for our new community, Park Ridge!  We were so thankful for all of the friends, family, VIP members and real estate agents that came out to get an early glimpes of our newest model home, the Turnberry.  This gorgeous new home features a beautiful stone exterior, brick elevation and has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms!

During the event children enjoyed playing with animals at our petting zoo, pony rides and many had their faces painted!  Our team gave away $150 in gift cards to those in attendance, and we all managed to stay warm despite the 22 mile an hour winds!

MI Homes got an early start last Thursday morning, as we beat the heat and had the concrete poured for our new model home, The Turnberry A, in our Park Ridge community. 3 Areas to Buy New Construction Homes Near San Antonio

San Antonio is alive with arts, entertainment and culture from the Alamo to the River Walk. Tourists flock to the city every year.

But the city is more than simply a tourist attraction. It’s a convenient location to raise a family. Residents enjoy quality schools and kid-friendly attractions and communities. Families considering moving to San Antonio have many things to look forward to, however, finding an affordable home with all the community benefits is challenging.

Currently, homes in the San Antonio market have a median listing price of $240,000, which is similar to Texas’ overall median list price of $224,990. New contruction homes in Helotes are generally built on larger properties than homes in New Braunfels and Schertz. Families interested in purchasing a newly-constructed Helotes homes can find 10-15 current listings, fewer than the other communities highlighted.
